Barbecued Country-Style Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 lb country-style pork ribs
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 c barbeque sauce1 your favorite
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 2 T ketchup
  • 1 T mustard I use dijon
  • 1 1/2 T cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Coat roasting pan with cooking spray.
    Place ribs in open roasting pan with rib side down. Slice onion and lemon. Place a slice of onion topped with a slice of onion on each rib. Secure lemon with toothpick. Do not skip the onion and lemon (makes a big difference). Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 325°.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover with foil and bake an additional 1 hour. Baste about every 20 minutes.
    Let rest about 10 minutes before serving.
