Country Ribs with Gravy
A twist on the usual. Serve over rice.

- 4 lb pork ribs
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 3/4 c onion chopped
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 3 oz frozen apple juice concentrate thawed
- 1/2 t poultry seasoning
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c chopped apple
- 1/2 c chopped celery
- 1/4 c evaporated milk
Brown ribs in vegetable oil. Rove from pan and reserve 1 tablespoon of drippings. Add onion to drippings and cool until tender. Add soup, apple juice, poultry seasoning, cinnamon and bay leaf. Stir until combined.
Return ribs to pan and simmer covered for 45 minutes. Add apple and celery. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes more. Add evaportated milk and heat through.
Serve over rice.
